Finding an MP44 is one thing, but finding the accessories is another.
This article will show some of the MP44 buttstock accessories.
Below, the instruction manual is shown. This manual was often called "Kolbenfachheft"
This example is the MP44 version, but
there is also a Sturmgewehr 44 version which is
identical. The only thing is that the word MP44 is replaced by
Sturmgewehr.
Its dimenions are 10 x 7 cm and it was rolled up and kept in the buttstock.
Below, the dissasembly or takedown tool is shown.
This tool is called Lösedorn and is used to remove the handguard, and for removing the gas cylinder end cap

As shown here, the tool was used to remove the handguard.

Barrel and gas tube are now clearly visible.
On the left is shown how the tool is used for
removing the gas cylinder end cap,
Here the removed end cap is shown.
Another accessory is the brush to clean the gas cylinder.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find one for my collection yet, so if anyone has one for spare.....
