Disassembly - continuation
First the sling has to be removed
Remove the sling from the "keeper" (Frosch) and pull the sling through the rifle butt stock
Now pull the sling through the buckle
Now pull the sling through the sling loop
The sling can now be removed from the MP
Below the MP44 is shown with removed magazine and removed sling
The disassembly can be continued
First the butt stock can be removed by pulling the retaining pin out.
Below, the underside of the MP44 is shown
Be sure to hold the butt stock, because of the recoil spring.

Note how the pistol grip swivels.
The Gas piston with bolt carrier and bolt now can be removed by pulling them out
